Corbin resigns as coach of Webber men's basketball
Babson Park, Fla. (05/05/2020) — Webber International University's Director of Athletics, Darren Richie, announced today that Coach Allen Corbin has resigned as Head Men's Basketball Coach at Webber. The resignation is effective May 15, 2020.
Corbin has been the head coach of the Warriors for the past three seasons. He finished with an overall record of 39-46 and took the team to the postseason one time with an appearance in The Sun Conference Tournament quarterfinals this past year in 2019-20.
Richie said, "We thank Coach Corbin for his determination for developing a program that has been successful in the classroom and on the basketball court."
A search for a new coach will begin immediately.
