Men's beach volleyball adds to inaugural recruiting class
Babson Park, Fla. (08/12/2020) — In anticipation for the upcoming 2020 men's beach volleyball season, the first ever season for men's beach volleyball at Webber International University, Head Coach Carlos Jimenez has announced the program's first two freshman additions joining the Warriors in the sand this year.
Joining the Warriors will be Peyten Young from Fall City, Washington, and Jack Sukeena from Redington Beach, Florida.
Jimenez said, "We have great expectations for this initial recruiting class as we enter the inaugural season of men's beach volleyball here at Webber. Peyton and Jack are well up to the challenge, as seasoned beach players that have gone through both the grassroots national training programs and some of the Florida beach clubs that are producing plenty of local talent. They will join the rest of this trailblazing roster that is spearheading the new direction that the sport is taking at the collegiate level."

Athletic Accomplishments: Previous high school basketball player until turning to beach volleyball junior year.

Anything Else: I grew up on Redington Beach skim-boarding, boating, and doing all water sports while hanging out on the beach. I am into video games and music as well. I ran my own lawn and landscaping business in high school. I studied film/TV production for four years and was a new anchor and cameraman on our high school morning news. I also was assistant coach for my sister's indoor high school and club beach volleyball team at Bevolley Academy.
