For Immediate Release

Dr. H. Keith Wade, President & CEO today announced that Mrs. Sharon B. Clay has been appointed the first Campus President of St. Andrews University - Charlotte, a branch of Webber International University.

Clay, who most recently served as Director of School and Community Partnerships for Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas, brings tremendous experience in adult focused higher education. In an 18-year career with The Art Institutes beginning as a Career Services Advisor, she advanced to Assistant Director of Career Services to Director of Career Services to Regional Career Specialist to Campus Director to Group Vice President, working on the Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Decatur, and Charlotte campuses. In her last role, she led over 100 faculty and staff across 22 academic programs. Clay holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management.

Said Wade "While we have a 124 year track record with traditional students and two residential campuses, stand-alone facilities serving working adult learners are new to us. The unique needs of continuing education make it important for us to hire leaders for these new campuses who have a great deal of experience in continuing education. There's not a doubt in my mind that Sharon will hit the ground running."

The Charlotte campus is located at 207 Regency Executive Park Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina. Information about the campus can be found at www.sa.edu/charlotte.
