St. Andrews - Columbia Welcomes Dr. Qunna Morrow as Campus President

Columbia, SC (10/21/2021) — The Columbia, South Carolina campus of St. Andrews University, a branch of Webber International University, has welcomed its Campus President Dr. Qunna Morrow.

Dr. Morrow is a native of North Carolina native but completed her educational journey in the Palmetto State. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Columbia's Benedict College and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Spartanburg's Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic.

In addition to practicing as a chiropractic physician, Dr. Morrow has over a decade of experience in higher education having served at a variety of institutions as an instructor, a curricular designer, an assistant director and director of education, an academic dean, and a campus president.

Said Dr. Morrow "while the location and schedule have been tailored to working adults - people hoping to learn something today and apply it at work tomorrow - the curriculum, standards, and outcome expectations are the same as at our campuses serving more traditional students. It's very gratifying to give back to the same community that launched my career."

While most of the University's students are traditional students living and studying on residential campuses, the University has recently opened campuses in several major metropolitan areas, bringing in person, face to face education to students who also balance careers and families, offering classes after work and near their workplaces. Said Dr. Keith Wade, the University's President and Chief Executive Officer, "we are very excited to have a leader of Dr. Morrow's caliber joining us. Her experience in the classroom will doubtlessly benefit the Columbia students and faculty."

Established in 1927 by Roger Babson as the first college chartered under Florida's then new charitable and educational laws, and America's second school of business for women, our campuses in Babson Park, FL (residential, established 1927); Charleston, SC; Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC; Laurinburg, NC (residential, established 1896); Miami Lakes, FL (anticipated opening 2021); Pinehurst, NC; and West Palm Beach, FL (anticipated opening 2021) now educate men and women from over 50 different nations. Joining Webber as a branch campus in 2011, St. Andrews University is a Presbyterian related, comprehensive liberal arts school tracing its roots back to 1896. The University features highly qualified faculty, highly engaged staff, small class size, and a wide array of intercollegiate sports and other extracurricular activities.
