Webber men's volleyball holds Signing Day during summer tryout

Babson Park, Fla. (06/19/2020) — The Webber International University men's volleyball team held a summer tryout and Signing Day on Wednesday, June 17, inside the Sabbagh Athletic Center. The day featured four future Warriors adding their names to the 2021 Webber recruiting class.

"We were fortunate to be able to host our tryouts with a great turnout under the current conditions," said Webber's Head Men's Volleyball Coach Carlos Jimenez. "We want to thank all the families and athletes that made the trip to participate and let the coaching staff see them in person. This year has made it difficult for coaches all over the country to be able to see recruits live, so we wanted to give a chance to the 2020 and 2021 classes to come and participate.

"The most recent addition to the Warriors' men's volleyball roster are four Florida recruits that we have been following but had not been able to see live," concluded Jimenez. "We are excited for their potential and for the impact they will have for the upcoming season."
