Babson Park, Fla. (05/19/2020) — Aubrey Tate Barker from Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois, has signed with the Webber International University women's basketball team for the upcoming 2020-21 academic year.

Originally from Plainfield, Indiana, Aubrey will be coming to Webber as a sophomore. She is a 5-foot-9 graduate of Plainfield High School (Class of 2019), capable of playing multiple positions on the basketball court, including point guard, shooting guard and forward.

Webber's Head Women's Basketball Coach Grady Morrell said, "Aubrey it a versatile player that will become a huge asset with experience."

Aubrey plans to major in Occupational Therapy Assisting at Webber. She says she picked Webber not only for the basketball, but for its academics as well. "I just loved the family atmosphere at Webber," she said. "There is always something happening on campus and I love that."

Aubrey would like to thank her mom and all of her past coaches, especially her coaches at Lake Land, for helping her get to where she is today.
